Solos Duos Trios
Chamber music by Australian composer Haydn Reeder, performed by various artists.
With the exception of the piano solo Tolling Bell Song, all of the pieces are world premieres. That solo is the oldest piece: the others are relatively recent having been written during 2012 to 2023. Various styles and many different techniques will be discerned, ranging from chromaticism as in the expressionist-influenced Rondo to what I call evolving repetition as in Surrounding the Cello. Throughout, you will hear the influence of bells (Wheels Piece) and bell-ringing (Rondo).
