After many years performing the finest classical pieces and composing music in a traditional form, French pianist Elodie Sablier was in search of a more personal expression in her music.
Following the successful release of Vertigo, her new Album Silent Bridge resonates with the hallmark echoes of the French classical tradition. So you won't be surprised to find Debussy, Satie and Ravel lingering behind Elodie's compositions. It is subtle, and it is more their spirit than their music you can feel.
Elodie's music is individual, intimate and exquisite. Elodie's "lightness of being" on these compositions pervades the whole record and makes it a delight to listen from beginning to end.
